Cece Chan is a New York–based cinematographer born and raised in Hong Kong. She graduated from Tisch School of the Arts in 2020 with a BFA in Film and Television. She is a 2023-2024 ASC Vision Mentee.

Her work has premiered at Tribeca Film Festival (The Rebirth; Kisses & Bullets), Raindance Film Festival (Seána), as well as Academy Award qualifying festivals such as Austin Film Festival (Magdalena, Te Amo), Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival and New Hampshire Film Festival (Birdsong), and she won Best Cinematography for Birdsong at NFFTY in 2023 and Kisses & Bullets at Manchester Film Festival in 2025.

She is a third culture kid raised by Chinese immigrant parents, and is most drawn to stories with unique cultural perspectives. Working primarily in the narrative world, she has shot in Lebanon, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Brazil, The Netherlands, Germany, Canada, and Japan.
